40 DAYS OF HOPE Day 18 Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, “I love God, but it just doesn’t seem to matter. It doesn’t get me anywhere!” Lets CHANGE IT TODAY: 1. Your love for God is better than wine to the Lord. It is pleasing to Him. (Song of Solomon 4:10) He loves you with an everlasting love that never will end. Lamentations 3:22-24 The word for lovingkindnesses in this verse means goodness, kindness and faithfulness. He’s crazy about you!!! 2. Put on the crown He has promised you. (James 1:12) He crowns you with His glory here and for eternity. The Holy Spirit manifests His glory and love in your heart and life. 3. Expect God to pour out blessings because He loves you. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says God has prepared things for you your eye has not seen or your ears heard and is so big your heart hasn’t even been able to conceive!!! All this comes to those who love Him. 4. Remember the woman who poured her love on Jesus. He said, it would be remembered wherever the gospel is preached. Her love changed her life and countless others, forever! (Luke 7:44-48, Mark 14:9) 5. LOVE IS YOUR TURNAROUND SPECIALIST. Believe with all your heart: God’s love for you working with YOUR LOVE for God causes miraculous turnarounds (Romans 8:28). Your love turns a curse into a blessing. 6. Embrace: LOVE NEVER FAILS. (1 Cor. 13:8) If it never fails, ITS WORKING! THINK IT & SAY IT: I believe my love for God pleases Him and makes Him smile. I expect crowns and victories today because He loves me. I receive the crown of Glory the Holy Spirit wants to place upon my head. My love is like sweet wine to Him and like beautiful perfume poured out before Him. Miraculous turnarounds are coming my way, because I love Him. And I cannot fail today because God’s love is working in me and through me to bring complete success, in Jesus’ Name! HOPE JOURNAL PRAYER: Take five minutes to write down Father God’s response to the question: Father God, give me a picture that describes your love for me and the blessing you desire to pour out upon my life.
