40days, Memory Eternal** timothy r gates, 7/03/2014 a new bed, under the earth that mothered us all, mother -- her love of Arias, her inability to sing a note eclipsed by her silence. the dirge is fresh. the cheeks are dry. the unknown baptized. the known assuaged. Im ready to go home, be with my loved ones -- Im tired, Im ready, they probably understand her words. I dont. yet, I do. **my Mother died to this world 40days past, my Father remaining here without her, in his own grief. a couple of days ago his sister, Sara, has also fallen asleep to this times space.
