*40th ANNUAL INVITATIONAL RESULTS* TRIPLE ELIMINATION BRACKET- 1st Place: Bowmansville 2 (ACC) 2nd Place: Petra 1 (ACC) 3rd Place: Orrville (Wayne) 4th Place: Gehmans 1 (ACC) 5th Place: Weaverland 2 (ACC) 6th Place: Hinkletown 1 (ACC) SINGLE ELIMINATION BRACKETS- Moses Bracket: Calvary Monument 2 (ACC) Aaron Bracket: House Church 2 (NW) Joshua Bracket: Petra 5 (ACC) A BIG Congratulations for Bowmansville 2. After losing their first match of the tournament, knocking them out of the Winners Bracket and into the 2nd Chance Bracket, they did not let it get them down. They won 13 matches in a row (including 2 consecutive matches against Orrville) to win the whole overall tournament. I not only want to congratulate them for the Invitational Tournament, but I want to extend my congrats for a very successful year overall. Bowmansville 2 won the season championship, finished as the 2nd place finalist in the ACC Tournament, and won the Invitational championship. In all my 13 years in ACC Bible Quizzing, this is the best team Ive ever seen, even better than the 2003 Petra 1 team. I also want to congratulation Petra 1 for a well-earned 2nd Place. They won 10 matches between the 3 brackets they were in. Before the final match, they only lost to Oak Grove and Weaverland 2, and they overcame both teams when they faced them in a rematch. Their 2nd Place was most impressive. Again, with Petra 1, I too want to extend my congrats for a successful year. They finished 2nd Place in both the ACC Season and the Invitational, as well as a 3rd Place Semifinalist in the ACC Tournament. Petra 1 truly accomplished much this year. Also, notice 5 of the top 6 teams of the tournament are ACC teams :)
