Instead, allow yourself a chance to think and feel. 2) Acknowledge your feelings. Recognize what you feel and ask yourself why you feel that way. 3) Empathize. Consider others perspectives and feelings. Remember there is not a right or wrong way to feel. Everyone is equally entitled to feel what they do. 4) Give it time Rarely does anything require immediate action. Allow yourself however long it takes to clearly process a situation and release any initial negativity. 5) Act With a clearer mind you can speak or act without regret, having analyzed the best possible options and outcomes.
