500 Thai bath in 90mins. We are looking for native Thai speakers in Bangkok willing to be recorded in a moving vehicle to help develop voice recognition software for Thai people. Could you share with your Thai friends, family, colleagues - any Thais between the ages of 16 and 59 - what we are doing and encourage them to become involved? The task is simple and we don’t want professional speakers - we need people speaking normally, not acting. They must be able to: * Read Thai prompts on a screen (telling them what to say). * Able to read short sentences without getting car sick. They’ll be accompanied in the car by one of our highly trained supervisors. The whole exercise takes about 90 minutes - sometimes less - and we gift each person who completes a session 500 baht cash. We’ll be recording from 9am through to about 6.30pm (finishing time), six days a week (possibly seven) starting Tuesday April 1. We are based above Gaysorn Plaza, Chit Lom BTS station.
