53 Mega Tourism Destinations/Circuits Projects The Ministry of Tourism (MOT), at present, has identified 53 Mega Destinations/Circuits for development in the country, including Maharashtra and Goa, in consultation with the concerned State Governments/Union Territories (UTs) on the basis of footfalls and their future tourism potential. Out of the 53 identified projects, 35 have already been sanctioned.
