61 Sr. PG Jordan Burrow, a mid-major D1 prospect on the strength - TopicsExpress

61 Sr. PG Jordan Burrow, a mid-major D1 prospect on the strength of his electric playmaking ability, spent the off season developing the reliable jumper he needed to balance his game and set himself up for a great final season at Milton. An unselfish, pass-first point guard with a great grasp of the system, JB is a threat to assist, get to the rim and score or pull up and knock in that newly-honed jumper every time he touches the ball, but he is especially dangerous in the open court leading our running game. However, the thing I believe makes Jordan special is his ability to dominate the game on the defensive end of the court. Strong and quick with a healthy competitve mean streak, Jordan is able to take the opposition out of its offense by pressuring the opposing teams point guard into turnovers that often lead to fast break points for Milton . . Having put in HUNDREDS OF HOURS of work in the off season, Jordan certainly has the whole package on the court, but the thing that has pleased me most about him is that he has taken ownership of the team and, along with Chris Lewis, has become one of our two unquestioned leaders. . . A terrific young man and hard working student off the floor, we are very excited about watching Jordan Burrow shine during his senior season here at Milton.
