#6399 The cold breeze hit me in a way that my whole body shivered to the utmost point can tolerate.! I was sitting outside the passenger lounge of isbt in the morning, waiting for my sweetheart . That chilling breeze pushed me to go inside to get rid of the same as i was wearing a thin sweater. When i set out from my room it was not so foggy but gradually its increasing by time. I went inside n took out the cell from pocket to call her. She picked up in the first ring n inquired if i have reached isbt or not with a sleepy n confused voice. I then giving her the confirmation asked where she was right then. The night bus just left khanarpara n will arrive isbt in a very few minutes. After a formal conversation of having safe journey she kept the phone to gather her luggage. She was coming from dibrugarh all alone n asked me last night to come by 6am to recieve her. After kepng the phone I felt of taking a cup of tea but suppresd my urge thnking of her arriving in few minutes. Rubbing my palm wid one another i sat down in a chair n jumped up hurrily as dat was ice cold(made up of iron)! Walking all around i found myself near the gate n noticed an old man shivering outside sitting over footpath. He covered himself with a torned blanket. I cud feel his condition as i was in the same condition few minutes ago. I walked to him n asked if he needs something or what... Wraping the blanket tightly over his body he smiled n asked me for a cup of tea n bread. His unshaved face n curly hair falling over forhead n his dried wrinkled skin forced me to realize dat he was starving since last couple of days. Wasting no more time i went to tea stall n brought some foods n 2 cups of tea. Taking the food stuffs he started eating like a hungry tiger. Keeping the other cup on the ground i sipped on mine. After finishing food the old man took the cup n finished after a while. His face was glowing wid a smile n i felt blessed. He told me uparwalai tomar val korok baba . As he complted his sentece my phone rang n i saw it was her. She asked my whereabouts n i ran towards the bus of her wishing gudbye to the old man. We were meeting after 1 months of her vacation. She got down from the bus with a big smile over her innocent n cute face. I wanted to give her a tight hug but thnkng about the people around i stopped myself to doing so. Bringing a smile over my face i welcomd her n asked whether she wanted to be fresh n took a cup of tea there. I had no clue till then what was on my way in next few minutes... Here it goes lyk this.. She: when did u arive? Me: just half an hour ago. Wud u lyk to tak tea here? I hav just taken mine sometimes ago. She: What..! Cud not u wait for me till my arriving.?(she screamed as if i have commitd a crime) Me: Baby plz listen to me( i was about to explain what happened..) but she stopped me shouting.. She: Ur just a selfish n blah blah.......! I tried to calm her down but she seemed to be so angry and suddenly call for an auto n asked the driver to keep the luggages n she sat down. I was at a stake n cud not utter a single word n the auto moved keeping me numb.! I left isbt with a awkward feeling n reached my room n thinking What was my fault.!
