7.21.2013 Treasure hunt We met up at the church to hear from the Lord to reveal who He wanted to encounter. As we discussed some of the things on our treasure maps we filled out, we decided on the most common location. There were five of us. Bass pro shops it was! When we arrived and entered, we took in the whole experience. haha! Glory! Daniel Burns and I went to the boat area while the others branched off. We both were reminded of a time where striving on another outing on a college campus. We couldn’t find anything. So Lord, we trust in You in finding divine encounters and letting love flow through us. We are thankful that you finished it all. So we enjoy who you are! We found someone with a leg brace. We engaged conversation with this teen. He was in a car wreck and walked away with a broken foot I believe. He walks away as we get to talk to His dad which was a follower of Jesus. We blessed him and encouraged his truth seeking guided by the Holy Spirit. The leg brace was on Tamas’s list. So while the son walked away we sent Tamas after him. It was a great encounter. Thank you Lord for this! They were thankful and I believe they were refreshed. It was cool how many treasures there were on this hunt! Wooooo! It excites me!!! We are treasured by Him! How good is this? ha Flowing out love. Love casts out ALL fear. JOY! Suzie encouraged several people, She prayed for a lady in the bathroom who just had an ACL surgery for a full recovery and fast! Towards the end, past cut off times we had in store. We didn’t think it was time to go that there was more to come. On my clue list for location I saw a barrel. So we this is the 3rd time I checked this location. So we head out there again as we were on our way back from there, we saw a man in a wheelchair with a leg brace. Tamas started up a conversation with the man about the turtles we were by. Then asked the man what happened to his leg. The man was a coal miner, here from the far outskirts of Kentucky. He shattered his bones in his leg and damaged the achilles tendon, which was on Tamas’s treasure map! BOOM!!!!!!! We got pumped up! God was surely going to encounter the man. So we asked if we could pray for his leg, he said YES!!!! So asked his pain level was from 1 to 10. He said about 3 sitting as he is in the wheelchair. He has had this pain for three years straight. We prayed for him the first time and pain decreased. it went away but then Tamas asked him to take off his brace to check it out. The man said he had pain while standing on it. We prayed another time for it and pain level dropped a considerable amount more. Tamas shared a testimony of healing and we prayed one more time to FINISH IT OFF!!!! We commanded the tendons, ligaments and bones to be made whole in Jesus name! He still had some pain at the time when he was bouncing back and forth on it. He was not able notice a difference after the third time we prayed. God did an awesome work in his foot and ankle, just not 100% during the encounter. "I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." What God starts in us, He will finish. It is NOT about something we can or will do on our own. Three years of pain, broken off!!! This is what is so cool about the gospel! Also on our treasure maps were a loss in the family and the names of family members. We spoke life and Christ into their situations. Suzie loved upon the man’s wife. This was a true demonstration of Kindom. Love. Knowing who we are in Christ. Loving because we first have been loved. Releasing the revelation of a Father who is happy, who is for us and who is in us. Amen.
