(7/25) 1994: Today’s coat of arms to honour the 25 years of the Canadian Heraldic Authority was granted in 1994 to the Village of Rockcliffe Park, Ontario, and celebrates local geography and wildlife. The motto translates as “We flourish among the trees”. Although the village was amalgamated into the City of Ottawa in 2001, these arms still appear on local street signs, and the framed letters patent are on display at the Rockcliffe Park branch of the Ottawa Public Library. ¬¬¬¬¬¬______________ (7/25) 1994 : L’armoirie du jour, pour honorer les 25 ans de l’AHC, a été concédé en 1994 au village de Rockcliffe Park, Ontario, et célèbre la géographie locale et la nature. Bien que le village ait été incorporé dans la ville d’Ottawa en 2001, les armoiries sont encore présentes sur la signalisation locale routière.
