In 2009, the SSO premiered Terry Rileys In C at Brooklyns Issue Project Room. ...fully embracing the spectral melodies and otherworldly timbres that emerge in multi-instrument settings. - Village Voice, Christopher Weingarten, 2009 SSOs unique single-timbre version of Terry Rileys In C was released in 2012 on Living Records. It is distributed by Cuneiform Records. Also On Sale via benmiller.info and Downtown Music Gallery, NYC . Im sure this will be a first for saxophone orchestra. - Ann Riley NYC concerts have included Spectrum, Issue Project Room, Gershwin Hotel, White Box Gallery, Manhattan Midtown Library, 17 Frost Gallery, Shea Stadium, Society of Elders, Brooklyn Lyceum and The Douglass Street Music Collective. Millers Symphony of Suspicious Activity was recorded at Brooklyns KENNEL Studios in February 2013. This 45 composition explores Millers own interval-based method. A final recording session is in progress with record label search in 2014.
