7 things you might not know about me... 1. The threat of tornados scares me terribly, ever since I saw the debri fall from the sky and devastation of the Tidioute tornado when I was a young girl. And when my life is in turmoil, I have nightmares of hiding and escaping them. But they dont happen so much anymore. 2. My second greatest fear is fires, ever since an arsonist burnt down our garage, again as a young girl. I was awoke by my brother in the middle of the night to see flames outside our window. Then watched it burn to the ground from across the street, while the firefighters soaked our house to keep it from catching fire. 3. My third greatest fear was being pregnant after Diezel came way too early being only 6 months pregnant. He was 1 lb 5 oz. Then I had trouble holding Easton and Kendall to term. I would never want to be pregnant again. 4. I am most thankful for our three beautiful children, partly because I feel like I worked so hard to keep them. 5. I feel blessed and am very thankful for my wonderful husband, Brian; the love of my life, my soulmate. Life and love and marriage is not easy but we have always been able to make it through it all. (knock on wood) 6. I am who I am today thanks to the quadriplegic I took care of in Phoenix. He taught me through his experiences and me sharing mine that I have a choice how to react to situations in my life. They are all just things that happen in life and we make them good or bad. I choose to see the good; in life and in people. 7. I have a huge interest in shedding light and openness and community among women about what is currently called post-partum depression. But as I have seen could be called post-partum heightened emotions and sensitivity towards everything. And how we all have to go through it, sharing experiences and letting new moms know they are not alone. Instead of just saying, Awe, what a cute baby!
