7 year old 16 hand registered Thoroughbred gelding, has been started in Hunter/Jumpers and has beautiful movements. Picks his knees up beautifully, and really pops that back end up. Being he is a Thoroughbred I do recommend keeping shoes in him, he is a level headed thoroughbred but can get a little hot if not ridden regularly. Was recently viewed by a Hunter/Jumper judge in Carbondale Colorado and she told me this horse has the natural talent to have a very successful life in the Hunter/Jumper show circuit. This horse was never raced and I personally started him when he was 5, so he had time to mature and fully develop before any hard riding was done. His first summer under saddle he spent a lot of time moving cattle on the grand mesa, he was also started on collection and learning to shorten and lengthen his stride, he Was started over cross rails and smaller jumps in the spring as a 6 year old. I have moved him up to larger jumps and have tried my hand at roping in him. He doesnt mind the rope being swung and I have accidentally caught his front and back feet as well as his head while on him with no blowing up. He has been on many many trail rides among the wild horses in cameo Colorado and was used by my dad to go hunting on. This horse has been exposed to so much that not much bothers him. he has not been shown due to lack of funds. I am a college student so I feel horrible letting such a talented horse waste away. I will continue to ride this horse as a hunter/ jumper to continue his training. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I do have 970 208 7515. I do have videos of him at the walk, trot, canter, and over a fence
