70 years ago, my Grandfather (Carl Denbow) and his family had to move to northeast Ohio to follow their work. They were gas/oil well drillers living in Monroe County, Ohio. There was not enough drilling going on in that area of the state after WWII to support their family, so they moved to Bath and several other locations before settling in the Sullivan area.
