8-30-14 update from Karli aka Mom. Just saw dr Mancusco (neurosurg) she said she would love to do Kylie Sue surgery to internalize the shunt on Friday, BUT is 90% sure it will be Monday. God here is UR chance to show a NS that UR in control. She said it would take a miracle for her infection to be low enough and her other levels high enough for her to be strong enough to do surgery. I would love for Him to show them (the non faith believers) that He will and can do it. I love when they say it cant happen bc right then is when I start begging show them U can. And only U!! She called you out God only U She said could do this. Please show Kylie and us that You are still listening and healing people like us. Back to what dr said... Sorry I got off track. The surgery will either b Friday or Monday. Then will do at least 48 hrs of antibiotics after surgery then will get home ASAP. She commented that Kylie is out putting a remarkable amount of csf. Which only means the shunt is working well and was very warranted. For the bad news. They will not go back on right side of head and neck for drain which means they will recut back of her head and neck to rerun the tubing. This broke Kylie. All the kid wants is to start high school on time and wo looking cut up all over. We need to make this a focus of prayer. She is not handling it well RIGHTFULLY SO!!!! All we can do is encourage her and listen to her. We cant fix it or make it go away. There is no easy fix no makeup to cover no extensions to fix it. These scars and cuts are not just in her head and neck. These are on her heart and she is upset. She doesnt want to hear its going to b fine or Kylie it could b worse she just wants us to understand she is mad and doesnt like it. Her levels are still good enough to receive vanc. So she is still fighting and fighting hard! Go Kylie Go!! Never give up Never give in!!
