8 injured, 25 shops burnt: DC Kishtwar Kishtwar: Amid clashes between two groups around a dozen shops, one hotel, one petrol pump and 2 police vehicles were set ablaze by a mob in this mountainous town on Friday. Report said that clashes continued as administration failed to control situation. Minster of State for Home andlocal MLA Sajad Ahmed Kichloo is in the town. When contacted Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Muhammad Saleem said, “At least 25 shops have been burnt and nearly eight persons were wounded in the clashes.” He said situation is tense and efforts are on to control the situation.
