80,000 FANS?!?! It is truly amazing to think back to how this project got started - a small group of interfaith friends from all walks of life sitting around talking about how little most people actually know about the Bible - the content, the history, the politics, the economics. You name it! Coming from a life in ministry, I was still astounded by recent studies showing that over half of self-professing Christians couldnt even name the four Gospels of the New Testament - the very basis of Christianity! So, we decided to put together a couple of illustrations as inside jokes - to get a few people talking, reading, and thinking about the Bible for themselves - perhaps for the first time since they were in Sunday school at a very young age. Before we knew it we had 10,000 fans demanding we put them together in a book! Just a few months later - 80,000 fans from all walks of life, interested in having conversations that may not be allowed in other venues.
