80+ volunteers, 5,000+ donated personal care kits. Thanks to St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters for this recap of Colgate Day of Service! Eager Colgate volunteers were divided into teams based on the shelter or pantry that their boxes were going to, and a little bit of friendly competition even ensued! ...The result? After 8 hours, and an impressive display of teamwork, these extraordinary volunteers had packaged a whopping 5,000 donated kits that we distributed to 5,000 families in the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters network.
