8th Grade Football: (From Coach Edwards) 10/22 vs Buffalo Win 46-26 Buffalo got the ball. QB Zach Wheeler did an excellent job running offense, throwing 3 TD passes and a 2pt conversion to James McCann and ran two more 2-pt. conversions. Our defense was strong throughout the game. Buffalo has a big running back that caused us a lot of problems last year. We held him in check for the majority of the game. We were also able to force several turnovers. Ian Riley had an interception that he returned for a touchdown, and Spencer Zeller had an interception and a fumble recovery. This game showed the potential that this class has. We had a lot of kids play this year. Our hope is that they stay together throughout high school. As a coaching staff, we are very proud of the hard work that these boys put in this year!
