9/24/14 - 7:18 PM Update We are just about to see the first of the showers move into the southern end of the county, which is nicely inline with previously discussed timeframes. We can expect rainfall to pick up into the overnight to moderate and heavy rates and likely continue through tomorrow morning. We will likely see tapering around midday and into the afternoon to more tempered shower activity. We definitely still need to be aware of the flooding potential, as we will very likely see at least an inch of rain, with possibilities of totals closer to 2+. Please be aware of the potential and prepare appropriately for any possible flooding in your area. Also, try to allot some extra time in the morning, just in case any detours due to high water are needed. Remember, dont drive into water in the roadway and stay out of any waterways running high. Please do not unnecessarily endanger rescue workers, if flood conditions do arise. Keep an eye on the sky, stay safe, and have a great night!!! -Pete
