9/9/13 The Revival has to relocate to The Riviera. Everyone that paid the Revival, will have there reservations for Sept 15-17 transfered to The Riviera. Greetings Soul and Blues Fans, We are less than a week away from what is sure to be an INCREDIBLE 72 HOURS of GREAT MUSIC and GREAT TIMES at SIN CITY SOUL & BLUES REVIVAL. Stress-free partying and camaraderie with old and new Blues Friends in Las Vegas! We are happy to report that Henry Garza, Los Lonely Boy’s amazing guitarist, who has been sidelined after reinjuring his back, will return to the stage this week, just in time for The Revival, so our entire line-up remains intact! That’s pretty good for a 40 band line-up! I need to share with you an important development: due to an irresolvable issue with The Rio Hotel last week, we were faced with either canceling The Revival, or relocating it. (Our attorney’s have advised us not to go into specifics re: the dispute with The Rio, as legal action is pending. Suffice to say, presenting The Revival at The Rio was no longer possible). After all of the work we have put into creating The Revival, and knowing how big of an event this is for both artists and fans, the idea of cancelling it was devastating. I trust you all agree: The show must go on! So… the good news is: The Revival is moving to The Riviera Hotel Casino, located on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip! The folks at The Riv have been great to work with thus far, and we think the event will be every bit as spectacular as advertised. We have secured performance spaces in The Royale Pavilion, The Top of The Riv, The Pool, and The Casino Lounge Stage. Some of the benefits of moving The Revival to The Riviera Hotel Casino include: • Longer hours of music at The Pool Stage! • Stages are closer to the guest rooms; The Delta Music Experience Stage’s move to The Top of The Riv, will not only provide a really cool view while listening to your favorite bands, your room will actually be just an elevator ride from the stage. • Revival guests will stay in The Riviera’s newly remodeled Towers, enjoying “Luxury Rooms” in the smoke-free Monaco Tower, and “Deluxe Rooms” in The Monte Carlo Tower, for those guests that desire smoking guest rooms. The Rooms in these towers are the closest to The Royale Pavilion Stage and The Pool Stage. • Located right on The Las Vegas Strip, 2 Free Comedy Club Tickets, 2 for 1 Show Tickets, Free Wi-Fi, Free Parking, Free Tennis Court Access, and a Free Cup of Coffee and Newspaper at The Java Stop each day. We will also enjoy substantially less expensive Dining and Drinks (How about $3 Calls, $2 Wells, and $1 Draws at The Casino Stage:-), a Free Coupon Book ($250 Value with $35 in Free Match Play), Lower Table Minimums in the Casino, including $1 Blackjack, and a really, really friendly staff! Hey, we realize nobody likes surprises, and we apologize for the last-minute change of venue. We are just thrilled that The Revival is still going to happen with all of the great performances that we are all so looking forward to. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support, let’s get this party started.
