9 facts about my labor/pregnancy: 1) I knew I was pregnant the night I conceived. Something about ovulation and menstruation clicked in my mind a little late. 2) The night my water broke, I came home from a two-hour trip, got bored, and decided to jog a mile to see if that would speed up the process. Lol. It did. 3) When Annalyn finally made it out, she didnt breathe for nearly a minute. I had no idea what was going on until after the fact. 4) I wanted to name my daughter Hannalie. One night, I was about 8 weeks pregnant, the name Annalyn literally just came to me. I later found out Ann & Lynn are names that run in one side of her family. 5) The morning after I had Annalyn, I kid you not, I had 40 friend requests. I dont even talk to that many people. Sniff sniff. Nosey. 󾆒󾍃 6) I was worried, like all parents, that I wouldnt have a healthy baby. She came into this world far more smart, healthy, and beautiful than I could ever imagine. 7) I played volleyball until I was like, 19 weeks pregnant. I protected her with my life while I was on the court, though. 8) I gained 13 pounds in the first trimester. People usually lose around 6 pounds that first 12 weeks. Lol. What can I say? 9) My pregnancy was so by the book it isnt even funny. I got pregnant two weeks after the first day of my last period, she grew according to the book, all the signs and symptoms were right on cue, and she was born 2 hours before her due date. Common sense couldve prevented my daughter, but Im thankful for my lack of it in this situation. My daughter is perfect & I love her more than anything. :)
