9 things people may not know about me 1) When I was in my early 20s and living in Dunedin I used to attend lunchtime readings at the university and write and perform poetry and prose including a couple of pub gigs and a cultural week called Mothers of Invention. I wish I wrote more now. 2) I have never travelled overseas 3) My first pony was a scruffy wee grey pony called Koko that noone wanted to ride as he bucked all the time. 4) I was 16 years old when I had my daughter Jamie 5) After many years of living with crippling depressions - finally in my mid 30s I was diagnosed with Bi Polar II Disorder. 6) I love to paint but tend to be most successful when I am on holiday and probably manic and can stay up all night to follow the inspiration. 7) I went through a very full on reggae phase when I was a teenager and everything was in rasta colours and I was a huge Bob Marley fan 8) I have 2 1/2 hours of flight time logged towards my pilot training 9) I believe that there is nothing that I cannot do if I want to.
