9 years ago today I was laying in a hospital bed trying to stop my body from going into labor as I was only 6 months pregnant. But you were a stubborn one & you couldnt wait to make your entrance into the world so you could begin your journey of challenging life every chance you got. From that day on youve always looked fear in the eye & dared it to try to bring you down. I remember it like it was yesterday when they pulled you from my stomach & I immediately froze in every mothers nightmare when I didnt hear you cry & they rushed you out of the operating room without saying anything to me. I was so scared. Finally your Dr told me they were life fighting you & I wouldnt be able to fly with you. Again I was thrushed back in to every mothers nightmare. Your Na Na decided to take that fight with you so youd never have to be alone. It was torture to be away from you as they told me you didnt have a very good chance of making it. I knew they had to be wrong & everything was going to be ok because you were a fighter & I wasnt blessed with my beautiful princess to have her taken away so soon. I was right! You fought so hard & 9 years later I am so blessed to have the most beautiful, inspiring little girl I could ever ask for. You amaze me everyday with your loving, selfless, compassionate attitude towards everything in life. I am so proud of the tiny little fighter that started out without a chance to the beautiful young lady youre becoming. Happy birthday Makynna Rae! Mommy loves you to the moon & back times infinity!!!
