(A). - WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT????? Dear friends on facebook, from early next week, I am initiating the following studies (presentations) on the Holy Spirit. I hope to get a dialogue with you to enhance our learning together. I believe most of us already knew that Jesus Christ is GOD. He was the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the old Testament who later became human through Mary and dwelt among men – (Matthew 1:21-23: John 1:1,14; Philippians 2:5-8; Hebrews 2:14-17). He existed in heaven as a separate being from the Father. But what about the Holy Spirit???? I created the sessions on the Holy Spirit as follows, to help clarify the topic on “THE HOLY SPIRIT” in our discussion together and answer the questions created; from the Bible. (C ). - FIRST SESSION – PRESENTATIONS Objective: To find out whether there are three divine beings that exist in heaven, or just two only. 1. Is the Holy Spirit a person or just a power? 2. Is the Holy Spirit a separate./ distinct person from the Father and the Son (Jesus Christ) 3. Is the Holy Spirit the third person of the Godhead? 4. Are there three persons in the Godhead or just one, or two? If we can prove that there are three divine beings that exist in heaven, then we can conclude that the Holy Spirit is a separate being, and this will lead us to our second session. (D). - SECOND SESSION - PRESENTATIONS 1. Is the Holy Spirit God? 2. Is the Holy Spirit a separate/distinct God from the Father and the Son? (E). - OTHER SESSIONS (PRESENTATIONS) TO FOLLOW 1. What is the work of the Holy Spirit after Christs ascension? 2. What is the difference between the GIFT of the Holy Spirit and the FRUIT of the Holy Spirit? 3. What is the unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit? 4. Is speaking in “a foreign tongue” the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit? … Well, WHY not the gift of prophesy; why not the gift of teaching, or gift of preaching or gift of love, etc,??? 5. Is Speaking in “a foreign tongue” that is NOT understood by the speaker nor by anyone else who heard what was said, really from God? 6. HOW to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Lets pray together and learn together, and ask GOD to guide us to a study that may empower us at this end time, to prepare for the coming of JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD GOD AND SAVIOR.
