A 17 year-old trans boy in Pennsylvania ended his life on Tuesday by stepping in front of an Amtrak train. This is NOT okay. What would make it even worse is if barely any Christians care enough to mourn his passing and publicly tell trans* youth that they are loved and that #translivesmatter. Please consider reposting & encouraging Christians on Facebook & Twitter to share Rileys story & post affirming messages for trans* youth in particular. As churches are preparing their fall calendars, now is the perfect time to work to add a trans* education piece.
