A 23-year-old North Charleston man was killed on Thursday afternoon after a 54-year-old Goose Creek man hit him with a tractor trailer. Steven Brinson was pronounced dead at the scene, the 122 mile marker on Interstate 95 northbound near Alcolu. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Judd Jones, Brinson was standing near the rear tandem of a 2003 Kenworth tractor-trailer truck driven by Steven Barnes. Jones said Barnes allegedly ran over Brinson.
