A 23 year old female presented to the emergency department with pallor and hemoptysis.Five days previously ,she was diagnosed as having a viral upper respiratory tract infection by her GP Over the next four days, her cough persisted and she was bringing up blood stained sputum.Her laboratory workup reveals a CBC with a normocytic, normochromic anemia. Her hemoglobin is low, her creatinine is high.
