A 23-year-old journalist who was shot in Mariupol, Ukraine Friday has been airlifted to Moscow for medical treatment. The young journalist works for Ruptly, RT’s video agency, and was shot in the abdomen despite wearing a bullet-proof vest marked “PRESS.” Three days of negotiations took place before the Ukrainian government approved a medical transport flight to bring him to Moscow for further treatment.
