A 27-year-old man is accused of being an accessory to the murder of a Detroit mother whose two young children remain missing. Detroit police say Timothy Jones and Erin Justice are partners in crime. Justice is charged with the murder of his wife, Alicia Fox, inside their home on Ardmore Street. Investigators believe he shot her multiple times. Police say Jones knew Justice killed Fox, and helped him after the murder. However, Jones tells a different story. He appeared in court for his arraignment on Friday where he was extremely polite. How are you doing today, your honor? he said during the video arraignment. According to Jones attorney, his client is a carpenter who has a non-violent history. Its just alleged. He was called to a place and found himself in a bad situation, said attorney Michaell Crews. Police now are asking for the publics help. Anyone who saw Jones and Justice together between May 24 and June 9 is asked to contact police. Detectives say the two men may have been in a U-Haul vehicle together. Meanwhile, Foxs two children -- 8-month-old Kristian Justice and 6-year-old Kaylah Hunter -- remain the focus of an intense and increasingly desperate search. A special task force is stomping the pavement, searching for the kids. Family, friends and even Kaylahs teachers are helping, too. Just handing fliers out, going door-to-door trying to talk to as many people as we can. Theyre babies. Theyre innocent, said Kimberly Russell, a volunteer in the search clickondetroit/news/man-accused-of-aiding-in-detroit-mothers-murder-2-kids-still-missing/26482796
