A Beautiful little gal named Lily, only 10 pounds, was walking with her mom on a leach one morning not that long ago. Before Lily and her mom knew it a 90 pound German Shepherd attacked Lily. Lily suffered a broken rib, a punctured lung and numerous bite marks. Lily had to undergo 2 surgeries. For post op Lily had to return to our clinic twice daily for 2 weeks to monitor her eating, medication and check drainage tubes that had to be placed during surgery.It was touch and go for Lily. Our staff fell in love with Lily we held her, loved her and shed tears for her and her family. However Lily is a fighter she fought through and today is happy and healthy! Lilys story is a eye opener on how important it is to keep your pet on a leash. As WONDERFUL as it is that Lily survived we have had many that have come into our clinic and not survived an attack. Lilys family says that Lily would not be here today if it was not for our amazing staff here at the clinic. We here at the clinic say Lily would not be here today if it was not for her loving family and her strength to fight!!!!
