A By-Product of running an Online Business is Flexibility. Specifically the flexibility as to when and how you use your Time. Having an Online Business gives you the opportunity to spend more time with family and friends. You are able to pick and choose when you work and when you dont. I love having the choice to work during the day or late at night. I build my work schedule around my life now instead of the other way around. In fact, you might say that before, I didnt really have a life. It was dictated by the Job I held. I worked long hours and missed a lot of family events because of the demands of the job. I remember not so long ago having to leave my wife alone on Mothers Day because the Corporate Management Team scheduled a Computer System Integration over that particular weekend. I remember how much it upset my wife. Lets just say she was not a happy camper. So early on Mothers Day morning I was flying into Cleveland to assist with the crossover and training. I remember another time when I received a call on Friday at 4 p.m. requesting I grab a team of my folks and head over to Kansas City that same day so we could catch them up on freight that had not been received. I can look back now and laugh.. Oh and by the way when we arrived at the facility at 7:00 a.m. the next morning the Manager was the only one there to greet us. All of his people had other plans and couldnt work that weekend. Want to guess what my recommendations were when I spoke to my Boss on Monday morning? I could tell you plenty of War Stories but we just dont have that kind of time nor do I choose to relive the past. That life is behind me and today I choose to make choices that drive me closer to my personal goals and vision for the future. Its because of these types of experiences that I choose to help others escape. Escape the chains and shackles that society will continue to use to hold you captive in a JOB, that will in the end leave you wondering if youll ever be able to retire. And if you do retire what will you really have to show for it? Dont bet on the Stock Markets.. 401Ks and other plans can be deflated overnight. Weve all already seen that just recently. I hope you have a backup plan if you are nearing retirement age within the next 10-15 years. Theres still time to get on the right path. It takes no more effort than the job you currently do. I promise there will be some personal growth required. You will be in control of your future; instead of someone else always leading you around like a bull with a nose ring. For you that are not familiar with this, just picture yourself with a large ring in your nose attached to a rope that your boss has in his or her hand tugging you in the direction they have chosen for you..
