Please send fee to: ACE, 410 Colorado Ave., Laurel, MT 59044. Morning Session: Participants will actively be involved in using Arts Integration strategies to help manage their classrooms. They will learn how to incorporate the arts strategies of Actor’s Toolbox, Concentration, and Cooperation. These strategies teach children how to concentrate and cooperate with their peers, all while building team relationships within the classroom setting. The session will end with One-Minute challenges teaching children to work cooperatively to produce a learned concept with their bodies. Afternoon Session: Participants will learn how to use the arts strategy of Tableaus. Participants will actively be involved in creating tableaus in small groups, learning how to take tableaus to the next level of text-card tableaus, and in creating their own tableaus to use in their classrooms. Please bring a textbook or other materials to the workshop so you are able to create a lesson to take with you.
