A CMBC Christmas message for the world While everyone is at home this Christmas, celebrating with family and friends over lunch and dinner, please remember the true meaning of this holiday. I saw this clip tonight while over at the brother-in-laws house for our annual Christmas dinner, and it made me realise the wealth that we have in our lives. My own boy was playing with toys (cars, buses, trucks etc.), while just behind him were the images of kids who were victims of wars. I also remember the stress that people get into at Christmas - trying to find presents for relatives - often getting angry in the car park while trying to get parking spots, or angry with retail staff for not getting a discount or running out of stock. We are getting people on boats - who are fleeing their countries because they have no other way to get away from the atrocities being committed at the hands of governments. We are listening to our own leaders turning these boats away. I thought about my own situation right now. As we drove home, and we came to our estate, I looked around me. We were in our 09 Nissan X-trail - and in this country it is a normal car - an everyday car that people see on the roads all the time. But to the boat people, or those kids who have been affected by wars - this is a car that the Rich drive. My family and I are doing quite well considering all this - we have 2 cars (both paid off), a decent first home that is being paid off through this business that I am building, food on the table every single day, electricity, water, a soft bed to sleep on - and 2 kids who are happy and healthy. We live in an estate with shops near by, parks near by - clean roads, lush green trees etc. What have we got to complain about really? Humanity has forgotten to love and care unconditionally, and instead it has now become a society of money driven motives and instant gratification. We are getting so consumed in getting all the pleasures in life - and in turn we are forgetting those that really do need help. So once again, while the presents and all that is fun, and getting punch drunk this holiday season is fun - just because you can - remember about all those that would just be grateful to be alive. Be unconditional when you give your love - whether it be through presents or through just a simple hug. Merry Christmas everyone :) https://youtube/watch?v=S84RLgnz7Rs
