A Caring God Psalm 8:4 “What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?” Psalm 8:4 (NLT). This is a question I often ask myself. Why does a God so big and so vast, a God Who created the entire universe, why does He think about and care for me? The human mind cannot even begin to comprehend the awesomeness of God, yet He cares enough not only to take notice of us, but to care about us—to genuinely love us. God’s hand can be seen throughout Earth’s history. From Genesis to Revelation to today, God has worked, and is working, in mighty and wonderful ways to accomplish His purpose in our lives; and the deepest desire of this great God’s heart is to know us intimately—and for us to know Him. Isn’t it wonderful knowing that the Creator of the universe isn’t trying to hide from us; instead, He’s doing everything He can to reveal Himself to us—to show us how much He loves us.
