A Chennai based renowned philanthropist Dr. B.S. Abdur Rahman is no more. He passed away today evening about 5:30 PM after a prolonged illness at Apollo Hospital, Chennai. An era of philanthropy ended with his demise indeed. A great loss to the society in general and Muslim community in particular in the field of education and social welfare.
