A Curious Observation: From earth...the sun looks tiny...we can hold this hot ball in our hands...its HOT yes...but tiny... If we get fixed looking at it for long enough through our years...we can come to believe that this tiny hot ball is here just to keep life on earth going... But if we take a new perspective and leave earth to see what the sun and the earth relationship is like... The new perspective is different...this tiny hot ball is 149,600,000 km away ... it is SO MASSIVE that it would take 1.3 million earths to be the same size as the tiny hot ball... Perspective is everything...if we spend too much time seeing the same thing and searching for new evidence to support and enhance JUST the thing then we may become the people that think the sun is just a hot tiny ball... What if everyday we gain a wider angle on our choices, options, decisions, behaviours, actions, reactions... What if everyday we step back ... to establish a new and fresh perspective on where we are and what we are in comparison to everything around us... What if every day we just stopped to think ... just for a moment...if it would take 1.3 million earths to fill the sun ... how many human would it take to fill the earth... Hmmmm...that makes me feel very insignificant :) What if that thought didnt scare us but humbled us into knowing that what we think we know is just a grain of sand in an OCEAN of information and led to just...INSPIRING us to want to learn more :) NOT to KNOW and say we know but to just know that it is still only a fraction of information and that knowledge is not ABSOLUTE ... but indefinite...unbounded ... incomplete :) IN THE SAME BREATH...we zoom in and recognise that information is like a grain of sand and each grain of sand is part of the whole...just like each person, is to each planet which is to that tiny hot ball (and whatever is beyond that) Human beings have a crucial role to each other and this planet...NOT because we are superior or keepers of this planet but because are evolving how we live at such a rate that we are dramatically influencing other human beings, impacting on other animals and the entire eco system through our thinking and (resultant) choices... Perspective is everything... take the lock off...switch off the auto zoom ....get moving,..zoom in, zoom out,,,switch to wide angle, gain refreshing perspectives... motion is life ...fixed thinking and fixed perspectives are lacking motion ... making them lifeless :) Lifeless thinking is dangerous to the influencer (sum) and the influenced (whole) ... So today ... who are you? The Person that keeps thinking the sun is a tiny hot ball or the person that looked wider and found information that it is 1.3 million times bigger than the earth ? :) Motion is Life :) Observe Curiously :) Chris
