A DAY OF RECKONING...The Billionaires in this country have a lot more to worry about than the Russians counterparts. I grew up in the 50s and 60s before America became a 3rd world country. The tax rate on millionaires then was 90 percent. And people who were rich were proud to pay it. There was knowledge that in order to stay great we ALL had to pay our fair share. Today, our middle class has gone from 80 percent of Americans to 10. Our infrastructure is falling apart. Students are saddled with an unfair debt which belies what was once an almost FREE higher educational system in America. Much of this is due to Republican rape and pillage of everything good about America. Clinton, in order to get Republican cooperation, passed some legislation which only made things worse and now we have a greed and selfishness in corporate America which is rivaled only by the early days of the 20th Century when Robber Barons and Monopolists created a situation, like now, where there was slave and child labor which eventually created the need for strong Labor Unions and Workers Rights. Wages were so poor that the Communist Party--Ronnie Raygun played with their ideals in the 30s-- became a viable alternative to the horrific living and working conditions of Depression America. And those same SLAVE WAGES exist in America NOW because Republicans refuse to capitulate on something as FAIR as a living Minimum Wage. In 1960 a Minimum Wage job would support a family of THREE! I really dont think things would be as bad as they are unless the Republicans hadnt underfunded and ruined the educational system to the extent that the average voter is too dumb to research and discover the truth about whats going on. Fox Newsless only appeals to the Unwashed and Uneducated Masses.
