Their applications typically have a significant database and communications content either using TCP/IP or multi-drop asynchronous serial (RS485). Skills must include: - Design and coding of Windows service applications. - A good knowledge of socket and serial communications at a low level. - Experience and understanding of data communication protocols including multi-drop RS485 polling. - A good knowledge of multi-threaded applications. - Experience of database programming using dbExpress.
