It seems so simple to me now that I am amazed that every Christian does not see the blazing truth. How can they live for a moment outside of Him? Of course I am speaking the Christian life at a practical level, for as to any simply judicial or objective abiding, it is a mere mockery to speak of it. “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.” If our Saviour shed His blood, then our faith doesn’t need to vary, and we may go on, not from strength to weakness and back again from weakness to strength, but steadily forward from strength to strength, always abounding in the work of our Lord. Oh it is so unspeakably blessed to have this faith, and so sweet to yield ourselves!
