A Dream come true :) I just got a glimpse of this canopy-dwelling bird in a dense forest near Murti river of Gorumara NP almost 6 years back. It was my first meeting with this bird and i was thrilled to see it. I got it again in the Buxa Tiger Reserve in June 2009 and was attacked by blood-thirsty leeches, but again failed to get its shots. Then i spotted this bird in the moist deciduos forests of Kuldiha Wildlife sanctuary of Odisha, but this tiny bird was so restless that i couldnt even manage to get a single shot. Finally I got some really close shots of this little gem at Kalimpong, where i was least expecting it, and that too on an orchard tree near human habitation.
