A Eulogy for an old friend: Almost five years ago, a week before my husband and I were to leave for our honeymoon cabin in the mountains, my coffee grinder went tits up. Being the out of her mind bride that Id feared Id become I had a breakdown about not being able to have fresh ground coffee on MY honeymoon. Yes, tears were shed over this matter. My husband went to Big Lots and found a Magic Bullet knockoff, a brand called Elite for $22 that featured drink cups for smoothies and two different blades for said smoothies and coffee grinding, Im sure it would have ground other stuff but I was never that adventurous. So today I decided I wanted a lemonade slushy and low and behold, it has whirred and ground its last drink. Goodbye old friend. Forgive me for tearing you apart to retrieve what looks like copper wire from your insides.
