A FEW DATES TO REMEMBER: Thursday, January 23rd: Weekly Intercessory Prayer in the Pastor’s Study. Saturday, January 25th: Elder/deacon retreat and The Truth Project. After this Saturday, there are only four more meetings of The Truth Project. Sunday, January 26th: Installation and ordination of church officers. Sunday, February 2nd: Lord’s Supper, Pastor Tony preaching, Food Ministry Sunday (canned fruit) and Super Bowl. We are having another “wear your favorite team colors” Sunday. Even if your favorite team isn’t in the Super Bowl, wear their colors. Dick will be wearing his “throw back” Seahawks jersey. Sunday, February 9th: Congregational meeting and chili cook-off potluck. Monday, February 10th: Our Session is gathering for prayer at 6:45 p.m. and other business at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16th: Our choir will not be singing. Monday, February 17th: Our Preschool will be closed in celebration of Presidents’ Day. Tuesday, February 18th: Financial Peace University begins and continues through April 15th Sunday, March 2nd: Lord’s Supper, Pastor Tony is preaching from the Gospel of John and we are sharing an Irish Theme pot luck. Wednesday, March 5th: Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the Lenten Season. Sunday, March 9th: Daylight Saving Time Begins – move your clocks forward one hour. Sunday, April 6th: The Lord’s Supper and Wycliffe missionaries Annie and Al Olsen will be sharing God’s Word with us during both our worship services. The Olsens have been ministering for our Lord in Africa the past few years. We will also be sharing our monthly pot luck following our 10:00 a.m. service.
