*** A GUN OWNER IS NO LONGER AUTOMATICALLY A FELON IN NJ! #nj2as #tcot According to the clarification recently released by acting Attorney General, John Hoffman, if a legal resident from another state is arrested for gun possession in NJ, he or she should not necessarily be prosecuted as a felon if he or she holds a valid carry permit from that state, is a first time offender, has a clean record and is not in the process of committing a crime. This is the first time in NJ that there has been *ANY* official recognition of the fact that there is actually a distinction between a criminal with a gun and an ordinary civilian with a gun. Of course *WE* have known that all along. It is just refreshing to see that a government official in the state where rights go to DIE, finally recognizes it. This revelation has some very significant implications for NJ gun owners. If holding a valid carry permit distinguishes a non-resident with a gun from a criminal with a gun, that must mean that qualifying for a carry permit is a positive indication of ones legitimacy in possessing a gun, otherwise, why make the distinction? If qualifying for a carry permit is a positive attribute in evaluating an individuals suitability to possess a gun, why does the state of NJ prohibit civilians from qualifying for a permit by requiring the demonstration of a justifiable need? This kind of logic is not internally consistent. Furthermore, if human beings have a right to defend their lives, liberty and vital property (and they do), why should they be required to get a permit to do so at all? In fact, if you dare to exercise your legitimate right to defend your life and family outside the confines of your domicile, the state of NJ will forcibly prevent you from doing so by imprisoning you for up to 10+years. If you try to resist this infringement of your legitimate rights, you may very well be killed by the agents of our state government. The citizens of New Jersey can no longer abide being forcibly coerced by the state government into putting their lives and families at risk without expecting there to be significant consequences. The laws of Nature will not long be trampled upon by the laws of men. Eventually, Nature will prevail.
