(they all have such unreal names) - has today declared he will go to Varanasi to ask religious leaders to oppose Narendra Modi. He blames him for the 2002 riots in Gujarat. Fair enough. But irony alert. He says he will not campaign for any particular party but simply wants secular parties to win. It just so happens he was speaking at the residence of Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Chaudhary Munavver Saleem. He was also angry with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Not because it is involved in politics. No, sir. He wants it to become a political organisation rather than be a social-cultural body. Closer home to Modi, the head of the Dwarka seat, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, has accused Modi of giving the wrong impression to people about his humble origins. Modi is now not poor, he says. Cant say hes not wise if he figured this out.
