A Guide For Those Left Behind After the Rapture by Robert William Brock This is A GUIDE for those who are left behind and have to go thru the Tribulation after the Rapture of the Church. The Bible tells us that when the Rapture comes the True Christians will be taken to meet Jesus in the air. Both the living believers and the dead in Christ (who have been raised from the dead) have been caught up to meet the Lord in the air, in accordance with the following Scriptures: “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:15-17). There may be many true Christians who are deeply concerned about those who will be left to suffer in the tribulation after the Lord Jesus Christ has called His true Church to meet Him in the air. The Bible plainly tells us that salvation will be offered to a person until his death. The opportunity of salvation during the tribulation is merely a continuation of the present opportunity now offered to accept the Lord Jesus as Saviour. Just as the sinner that was crucified on the cross with Jesus was saved just before his death, we will all have a chance for salvation even during the tribulation period. The Scriptures teach that even then many will be saved by giving their lives to Jesus and will escape the final doom of the eternal lake of fire. “Then one of the elders asked me, These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from? I answered, Sir, you know. And he said, These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 8:13-17 After the Rapture the powers of Satan will have full sway, and a terrible, indescribable tribulation will take place during which the inhabitants of the earth (both Jew and Gentile) will suffer terribly. To live for Christ now, under the reign of the antichrist, and to confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, that you may escape the eternal damnation of the Lake of Fire, will cost you your very life. But salvation is still promised to those who endure to the very end, “But he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13 Those who are saved out of the great tribulation are described in Rev. 7:14 as having “washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. Romans 10:13 During the tribulation your Bibles will be taken away from you, so it will be extremely important to study your Bible earnestly while you have it, and memorize as much as possible before it is taken from you. The antichrist will be the great world dictator; he will compel men to wear his mark, and to worship him and his image. You must REFUSE THE MARK, AND REFUSE TO WORSHIP THE ANTICHRIST or his image at any cost. “He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right had or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.” Revelation 14:15-18 It will be far better to suffer for a little while now, and soon be with Christ, than to escape suffering by yielding to the beast and suffer the torments of hell forever. The Bible bears testimony as seen in the scriptures above that during this period you can neither buy nor sell without the mark of the beast, and this will bring great suffering and death to those who refuse the mark. But everyone that receives the mark is eternally damned, and the wrath of God will be poured out on them. It is so important to have accepted Jesus into our hearts and be taken in the Rapture than to be left behind and to endure the tribulation period. It is so easy to accept Jesus now as your personal Saviour, by believing that He died and shed His blood for you. That he rose again on the 3rd day. Confess to him that you are a sinner and surrender wholly to Him. Ask Him to come into your heart as your Lord and Saviour. “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (as Saviour), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” Romans 10:9
