A Headteacher from Bath has banned children from handing out - TopicsExpress

A Headteacher from Bath has banned children from handing out birthday party invitations unless the whole class is invited in order to avoid upsetting pupils who have been left out, saying that invites are divisive and unkind and against the schools inclusive policy. He suggested that invites should be sent out privately so that excluded children do not feel left out. But is this headmaster doing the right thing? Is it right for teachers to interfere in our childrens personal lives? Should children be protected from feeling left out? Has your child ever been excluded from a party, how did it make them feel?
