A Jackson County man is behind bars after he was arrested on a charge of molesting a 6-year-old girl. Revas M. Spencer, 33, of Seymour faces charges of child molestation, a Class A felony; battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class D felony; and intimidation, a Class D felony. He was arrested Tuesday and was being held without bond Wednesday, pending his initial hearing in Jackson Circuit Court. The incidents with the young girl took place between March 30 and April 7, according to the probable cause affidavit. It was signed by Detective Corporal Brian Moore with Seymour Police Department.
