A Jones County Woman, the Laurel Leader Call said, escapes injury - TopicsExpress

A Jones County Woman, the Laurel Leader Call said, escapes injury in an accident. These are the headlines that appeared in the Laurel Leader Call. The woman in this accident happens to be our dear friend, Merridee Yates from Taylorsville, MS. She had attended the MS Camp Meeting on Friday to fellowship and hear the missionaries speak. When she left the camp, it was raining. She said she met a car and then her car hydroplaned, sending it through the woods and lodged between two trees. She had to be removed from the passengers side of the vehicle. After it happened she called to tell us being afraid we would be worried about her if we heard. We talked to her today and she says she found a bruise on her chest, but other than that she says she is fine. That, my friends, shows Merridee had an Angel with her that day. I tried to put the article on FB but didnt want to take the time to subscribe to the Laurel Leader Call Online. Pray for Merridee. She loves Missions and has donated much to help in our Iglesia El Faro in Laurel. At this point she isnt sure if the car will be totaled or if it can be fixed. She recently went to Belize on a Missions trip with Charlie Joe Green and travels extensively. She does mighty well for a dear lady of her age. We love you, Merridee!
