A LESSON I LEARNT FIRST-HAND FROM THE GREAT TEACHER.... Dear Friend, Im sharing with you a lesson I learnt from the GREAT TEACHER this morning n I believe youll learn a great deal from it too... Sometimes yesterday evening, I received an e-mail from Living Bread Ministries that spoke to me about my situation, the usual me will not even read the e-mail before deleting it but I just cant phantom the reason why I read the mail. After reading the mail, I ignored it based on the way I was feeling n decided to sleep (unusually) very early...( I guess the GREAT TEACHER would have just took a deep breath n smiled at me....) In the early hours of today, the GREAT TEACHER woke me up to speak to me, though I never realized that at first, I went to empty my bladder n wanted to return to bed but I guess he has sent Mr. Sleep out of the room before I came back from the restroom... I saw the unusual presence of PHCN as a opportunity to iron a few of my wardrobe collections, and in the process of doing that, the lesson began... The GREAT TEACHER took me down memory lane, reminding me of sometimes in the middle of last year when the rumor of BBM on Android filled the airwaves. I was among the anticipated users of BBM whod like to port to an android phone without losing my BBM contacts. I got a My 4G Slide phone which runs on Android Ginger Bread (2.6.3) platform, and I was waiting for the news to be true. A few weeks afterwards, BBM on android was launched but unfortunately, it only worked on 4.0 n above platforms. As an IT professional, I resolved to rooting my android phone in order to upgrade its OS. All my efforts to get this done proved abortive. I even seek the help of IT colleagues but all to no avail. I got tired of trying n I decided to sell the phone off but there wasnt a worthy buyer to pay the price so I just dumped the phone somewhere in the conner of my room... For months, the phone was there, dusty and unused. It holds a very little value to me cos I believed without BBM on it, whos gonna like it ? Precisely a week ago, I got the info that BBM is now on Ginger Bread, I couldnt believe it so I tried with someones phone whos having the same android OS as mine n it worked !!! I was so happy n decided I was gonna fix my android too. I did n as I type this right now, I can ping on my (once neglected) Android phone. MORALS: Then the GREAT TEACHER asked me, Sola, why do men like to play the role of God in some matters that are meant to be solved by God ? #DeepBreath Many a time, you tend to forget that all you need to do is plant the seed n allow God to make it germinate. When you plant a seed, do u go there everyday to pull it up for it to grow taller ? Thats non of your biz, its Gods. When men try to play God in their matters, He doesnt argue, He allows you try all your mights till you have no more to try, then he steps, smiles n say, Son, let me have the wheel, just sit back n enjoy the ride . Some changes are meant to happen naturally, pls, dont let your zeal or love for something or someone make you damage what you cant fix. I sure you must have learnt a great deal like I did...
